Hyper-Dispensationalism, also known as Ultra-Dispensationalism, is the name given to Dispensationalists who believe Paul was the first member of the body of Christ. The word "Hyper" does not imply anything negative; instead, it only designates those who take Dispensational concepts further than Traditional Dispensationalists do. Among Hyper-Dispensationalists, there are two major divisions, commonly known as the mid-Acts viewpoint (which takes its name from the belief that Paul became the first member of the body of Christ during the mid-Acts period), and the Acts 28 viewpoint (which takes its name from the belief that only Paul's prison and Pastoral epistles, which were written after Acts chapter 28, apply directly to the church in this present dispensation of grace).

Baker's Dozen - A Classic (Acts 2) Dispensational Review of Chapter 65 in Charles Baker's Dispensational Theology, with its twelve allegations that the present Church is different from the Church that existed at Pentecost Ultradispensationalism - Ultradispensationalists, also called hyperdispensationalists, can be divided into two distinct groups; and to Traditional Dispensationalists, the views of both groups are considered extreme, but not unscriptural. Beacon Ministries / Grace Bible Fellowship - Today we find no shortage of Bible teaching, but sound Bible doctrine which "rightly divides the word of truth" is very rare. This site teaches mid-acts dispensationalism. Water Baptism - Mid-Acts dispensationalist Jerry Shugart questions the assumption made by many hyper-dispensationalists that in earlier dispensations, submitting to the rite of water baptism was required for salvation.
