Provides weather and market reports, publications and FAQ. Alberta Energy - Manages the development and conservation of oil, natural gas and mineral resources within a framework of sustainable development, maximizing investment and benefits for Albertans. Alberta Culture and Community Spirit - Currently working on a cultural policy that will encompass the cultural, historical and natural heritage. Also works with the film industry to encourage film and television productions, with the film development grant program. Alberta Environment - Manages the use of the province's diverse landscapes to sustain a healthy environment, a prosperous economy and strong communities, by protecting the province's air, land, and water, including addressing climate change and waste management. Alberta Aboriginal Relations - Works with Aboriginal communities and other partners to enhance social and economic opportunities for Aboriginal people. Alberta Ministry of International and Intergovernmental Relations - Coordinates Alberta’s relationships with various levels of government in Canada and around the world. Alberta Municipal Affairs - Provides administration of municipal grants and funding, emergency personnel education and training, community services, safety and building services. Northern Alberta Development Council - A regional development council with a focus on advancing the development of the northern economy, with a mandate to identify and implement measures that will advance northern development, as well as advise government on opportunities and issues. Alberta Education - Responsible for early childhood education and kindergarten through grade 12. Includes resources for students, parents and teachers. Service Alberta - Coordinates and streamlines provincial government processes and programs. It includes Queen's Printer, birth, death and marriage related documents, residential tenancy dispute resolution service and surplus sales. Alberta Health and Wellness - Gateway to provincial health matters including health initiatives, legislation, information for health professionals, regional health authorities, and Alberta's Health Care Insurance Plan. Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation - Responsible for tourism development, and oversees parks, sports and recreation programs. Alberta Ministry of Infrastructure - Responsible for infrastructure planning, and building and managing government-owned infrastructure. Other responsibilities include land acquisition, leasing and administering the Natural Gas Rebate Program. Municipal Government Board - Quasi-judicial body makes decisions on certain appeals and disputes stemming from Alberta's Municipal Government Act, which forms the legal basis for the way local governments in cities, towns, villages and rural areas operate. Alberta Emergency Management Agency - Leads the co-ordination, collaboration and co-operation of all organizations involved in the prevention, preparedness and response to disasters and emergencies. Alberta Housing and Urban Affairs - Responsible for urban affairs, affordable housing programs, and provincial government action against homelessness. Alberta Justice - Responsible for the administration of justice, including information on victim's services, legal services for vulnerable persons, corrections, prosecutions, policing and the courts. Alberta Solicitor General and Public Security - Information on justice, corrections, and law enforcement. Alberta Economic Development - Works to provide information and competitive intelligence, diversify industry products and services, expand export and trade, attract investment and promote tourism. Alberta Finance and Enterprise - Responsible for the financial operations of the Alberta government. Contains information on the provincial budget, debt and investments, Heritage Fund, taxes and rebates, financial institutions, insurance, pensions, Alberta Savings Certificates, annual reports and business plans. Enterprise and Advanced Education - Ministry responsible for economic development activities, post-secondary education, entrepreneurship, industry training, workforce development, immigration, research. Alberta Seniors - Supports the well-being and independence of seniors and provides housing support for lower-income seniors and families, individuals with special needs and the homeless.
