The Southwest Waterfront of Washington, DC is a 47-acre site along the Washington Channel, stretching from the historic Fish Wharf to Ft. McNair. Plans are underway to redevelop the Southwest Waterfront, transforming the area into an urban destination that mixes maritime activity and commerce with culture and housing within easy walking distance to the National Mall.
