Green Mountain Water Environment Association - A nonprofit group of water supply and wastewater treatment personnel to promote public awareness and support of the water and wastewater industries and their water quality professionals. Vermont's White River Partnership - Helping local communities balance the cultural, economic and environmental health of the White River watershed through active citizen participation. Vermont River Conservancy (VRC) - Works to purchase and conserve waterfalls and gorges, swimming holes, riparian areas, paddling and fishing sites and ensure that they remain accessible and free from development Aquatic Nuisance Species - Presents information regarding aquatic nuisance species with a goal to “to prevent or reduce the environmental and socio-economic impacts of nuisance (primarily non-native) aquatic plant and animal species.” Friends of the Winooski River - Active citizens' group dedicated to the enhancement and enjoyment of the Winooski River. USGS: WaterWatch - Map of real-time streamflow compared to historical streamflow for the day of the year. US Geological Survey - Water quality of Lake Champlain Drinking Water and Groundwater Protection Division - Presented by the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation.
