Appalachian Studies Association - Mission is to encourage study, advance scholarship, disseminate information, and enhance communication between Appalachian peoples, their communities, governmental organizations, and educational institutions. Organization information and resource collections. The Blue Ridge Highlander - Information about tourism, recreation, attractions and events, restaurants and lodging, history and culture, for a region including portions of north Georgia, western North Carolina, southeastern Tennessee, and the South Carolina mountains. Digital Library of Appalachia - Provides searchable access to items related to the region in the collections of several regional institutions. Includes manuscripts, photos, audio and video materials, and objects related to arts, work, religion, daily life, and other topics. Archives of Appalachia - Catalogue of the East Tennessee State University library's multimedia collection of materials that documents the political, economic, social, and cultural history of Southern Appalachia. Includes descriptions of the materials. Center for Virtual Appalachia - Information and links on regional culture, art, music, literature, religion, crafts, news and events, geography, geology, ecology, and genealogy. Maintained by the Institute for Regional Analysis and Public Policy, Morehead State University.
