West Seneca is a town located about 10 miles from downtown Buffalo, in western New York state. The town was incorporated in 1852 and is named for its original inhabitants, the Seneca Indians. Historically, West Seneca has been a farming community, but it is now increasingly a suburb of Buffalo.
