Paul Bunyan State Trail
- Official site, from the Minnesota DNR. Information on parking, accessibility, activities, which sections are currently paved, future plans. Link to map of the Paul Bunyan and Heartland trails, with distance charts.
Willard Munger State Trail
- Official web site, from the Minnesota DNR. Paved recreational trail stretching 70 miles, from Hinckley to Duluth. The Boundary segment, a natural surface trail, goes 80 miles, from near Pine City to Holyoke. Map available in GIF or PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format.
Mill Towns Trail
- A planned recreational trail between Cannon Falls and Faribault. The trail would link existing trails: the Cannon Valley Trail from Cannon Falls to Red Wing, and the Sakatah Singing Hills Trails between Faribault and Mankato.
Central Lakes Trail
- Paved trail stretches 55 miles from Fergus Falls to Osakis, along a former rail line in west central Minnesota. Connects to the Lake Wobegon Trail in Osakis. Map, cities along the way, upcoming events.
