Snellman is a tiny unincorporated village on Highway 34 in Becker County, Minnesota. Snellman is south of Shell Lake and east of Toad Lake. It is approximately 17 miles west of Park Rapids.

Hideaway Resort - Located on Island Lake with fishing for walleye, northern pike, large and small mouth bass, crappie, perch, and bluegill. Boating and water skiing. Spring fed and located on the southeast end of Tamarac Wildlife Refuge. Offers contact information. Snellman Topographic Map - Shows land features as well as roads. Also a small map indicating where Snellman is situated in Minnesota. Snellman Area Map - Shows where Snellman is in relation to Detroit Lakes, Park Rapids, and the White Earth Reservation.
