Quoddy Head State Park - Located in Lubec, the eastern-most point of land and lighthouse in the US. Offers scenic trails and a boardwalk through a rare peat bog. Cobscook Bay State Park - Located in Dennysville, the park includes campsites and shelters, as well as a reversing waterfall that changes with the tides. Mount Blue State Park - Provides a campground, sand beach, bathhouse, hot showers, toilets, boat launch, amphitheater, and nature center in Weld. Peaks-Kenny State Park - Nestled in the mountains on the shore of Sebec Lake in Dover-Foxcroft. Offers camping, beach, lifeguard, picnic area, bathhouse with showers, and hiking. Grafton Notch State Park - The 2,000 mile Appalachian Trail passes through the park on the way to Mt. Katahdin. Facilities include picnic tables and grills, and a snowmobile trail. Warren Island State Park - Island off Lincolnville offers ten campsites, two shelters, fresh water, docking and mooring facilities. Intended for the boating public, no ferry transportation provided. Lake St. George - Offers a swimming area with lifeguards ad a bathhouse, camping sites, canoe and boat rentals, and snowmobile trails in Liberty. Camden Hills State Park - Visitors may drive or hike to the summit of Mt. Battie or Mt. Megunticook for views of Camden Harbor, Penobscot Bay and many lakes and rivers. Park offers hiking trails and campground area. Bradbury Mountain State Park - Picnic area and shelter, playground, ballfield, hiking trails, and 41 campsites are available to visitors in Pownal.
