Zip - 04539 Settled around 1625, under title from Indian chief, Samoset to John Brown. Some evidence suggests that settlements existed as early as 1602. In 1664, Charles II granted the whole territory to Massachusetts. Town was incorporated in 1828. Villages within the town of Bristol include: Chamberlain, New Harbor, Pemaquid, Round Pond, Bristol Mills, Pemaquid Harbor, Pemaquid Beach, and Pemaquid Point.
