The Loop is the historical center of downtown Chicago, as well as the city's central business district, bounded on the west and north by the Chicago River, on the east by Lake Michigan, and on the south by Roosevelt Road. It contains the New Eastside, Printer's Row, South Loop, and Historic Michigan Boulevard District areas.
