Arms Control Agremeents - Details about various international agreements and treaties to combat the threat of weapons of mass destruction, courtesy of the Federation of American Scientists. Some of these have been ratified by the US Senate. Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) - The Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty will take effect if and when 44 of the nations listed in the Treaty's Annex 2 ratify it. By January of 2005, the treaty had been ratified by 33 of those countries, not including the United States.
