City of Berkeley: Office of Transportation - Describes the current and planned state of transportation infrastructure in the city. Includes sections on Berkeley's unusual traffic features, including the "Bicycle Boulevards" which are main streets for cyclists. University of California Berkeley : Parking & Transportation - All about travel to and within the UCB campus. Includes information on the complex permit system, shuttles, night safety, football game day shuttles, and the after-hours public parking in campus lots. New Proposals for a Berkeley Ferry - Advocacy site offering potential ferry designs, and detailed analysis of fuel efficiency of various proposals. Easy Does It Emergency Services - Site describes door-to-door demand-responsive wheelchair transportation service, including emergency wheelchair repair service and on-call personal assistance. Berkeley Path Wanderers Association - Non-profit maintaining and constructing stairs and connecting paths on 140 city owned easements. Find offerings of path maps, talks, walks, work parties and history (most paths were laid out for access to the streetcar network). Berkeley Lab: Laboratory Shuttle Bus Routes - Route map and schedules for the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab shuttle, which connects to Downtown Berkeley BART. Open to lab and campus affiliates, and visitors. UC Davis Fleet Services : Berkeley Shuttle - Schedules and advance reservations for daily UC Davis to UC Berkeley shuttle. West Berkeley Shuttle - Commuter shuttle from Ashby BART. Supported by Bayer, Wareham Properties, Parker Associates and other major employers. Pedal Express - Berkeley-based cooperative bicycle delivery service. Bike East Bay - Dedicated to making bicycling a safer, more convenient and more pleasant way of getting around town. Membership organization which offers a newsletter, and training for riders on courteous and safe riding techniques. Street Level Cycles - Community bicycle shop where residents can learn to repair bikes and work on bikes for free. Also offers used bicycles. A program of Tinker's Workshop/Waterside Workshops.
