Longueuil is one of the larger cities in Quebec. It is the largest city on Montreal's South Shore and the metro (our word for subway) runs from Longueuil to Montreal. This category is for the new city of Longueuil, made up of the former cities of Greenfield Park, LeMoyne, Longueuil, and Saint Hubert which merged in 2002 and stayed merged in 2006. It does not include Boucherville, Brossard, Saint-Lambert, and St. Bruno which merged with the city in 2002, but in 2006 became independent cities within the Agglomération de Longueuil.
