Garry Oak Ecosystems Recovery Team - Information about the unusual and rich ecosystem found in the rainshadow of the Vancouver Island Ranges, and efforts and plans to save the plant and animal habitats and species found there. Vancouver Island Biodiesel Evaluation Study - A test where Canadian participants in a variety of sectors ran their vehicles on regular diesel and a 20% biodiesel blend to study its effects on maintenance, performance, and emissions. Nature Cowichan - Gateway for the Cowichan Valley Naturalists' Society, the Cowichan Community Land Trust, and other local environmental organizations and environmentally-conscious businesses. Features events and volunteer opportunities. Goldstream, Rathtrevor and Miracle Beach Provincial Park Nature Houses - Hands-on activities and exhibits designed to teach children about the local ecological scene.
