The County of Lacombe is in the central region of Alberta. It includes the hamlets of Haynes, Joffre, Morningside and Tees, the summer villages of Birchcliff, Gull Lake, Half Moon Bay and Sunbreaker Cove, the villages of Alix, Clive and Mirror, and the towns of Bentley, Blackfalds, Eckville and Lacombe.
