Sites relating to Kuusalu rural municipality (Estonian: Kuusalu vald). The municipality covers an area of 708 square kilometers, a significant part of which consists of areas protected by the Lahemaa National Park. It has a population of approximately 6,800, and Kiiu is the administrative center. There are three small boroughs (Estonian: alevikud): Kuusalu, Kiiu, and Kolga, as well as 64 villages (Estonian: külad) including the village of Valkla.
