Recently recognized as a working dog by the American Rare Breed Association, the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog originated in the Alapaha region of Georgia, a descendant of 15th century English bulldogs. The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is alert, powerfully built, and agile. Ranging in size from 20 to 25", 50-100 pounds, they have a short, stiff coat with a soft undercoat.
