Open to sites related to the combined Young Women's and Young Men's programs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, known as Mutual. The Mutual Improvement Association was organized in 1869 by the prophet Brigham Young. Today, Youth ages 12 to 17 gather by gender and age for lessons during Sunday meetings. Combined social youth programs in most areas (throughout North America especially) include stake dances, summer youth conference, and Especially For Youth program at BYU. At all official activities, LDS youth are expected to maintain certain standards of dress, speech, and demeanor. Abstinence from alcohol, drugs, and sexual relations are also required.
