AHAM Retreat and Training Center - The 'Association of Happiness for All Mankind' - teaching according to Ramana Maharshi, based in North Carolina. Abhedashram - Centre for spiritual studies near Welshpool in the UK, established by H. H. Shrimad Svami Sadananda Sarasvati in the tradition of Shankara. Arsha Bodha Center - located in central New Jersey, this was founded by Swami Tadatmananda, a disciple of Swami Dayananda. There are regular classes in Vedanta and Sanskrit and numerous other events. Payment is by donation. Arsha Vidya Gurukulam - Institute of Vedanta and Sanskrit - Arsha Vidya means the knowledge flowing from the Rishis - the great seers of ancient India. Arsha Vidya Gurukulam offers Indians and Westerners alike an opportunity to study the profound spiritual knowledge of the Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Brahma-sutras, and other classical Vedic texts. Vedanta Life Institute - Founded by Sri Parthasarathy, the 'Vedanta Academy', near Mumbai in India, offers a three year residential course on Vedanta, based on study, contemplation and practice. It is open to those aged 16 - 30. Short-term, practical residential courses are also available for business men and professionals on topics such as stress and time management. Books may also be purchased (though not by credit card) and there are Vedantic Centres at various locations around the world. School of Economic Science - Teaches Samkhya influenced Advaita, with particular emphasis on karma yoga, at locations around the world. TM is introduced after two years. Also a world-class centre for the study of Sanskrit. Shanti Sadan Yoga Centre - Traditional yoga of self-knowledge (adhyatma yoga), based on the spiritual philosophy of non-duality (advaita vedanta). Universal teaching for people from any religious or scientific background, or none. Events, magazine, bookshop. Leela Foundation - dedicated to world peace and freedom through universal Self-realization, founded by Enneagram teacher Eli Jaxon-Bear, in the lineage of Ramana Maharshi and H. W. L. Poonjaji. Schedule, essays and talks, retreats. The Sambodh Society - Details of events organised throughout the US and of publications of the society, formed by Swami Bodhananda Saraswati. Society of Abidance in Truth - The Society of Abidance in Truth (SAT) is a spiritual nonprofit organization consecrated to the teachings of Advaita Vedanta, especially as revealed by Sri Ramana Maharshi. YogaAdvaita.org - The Advaita Yoga Ashrama was set up to spread the teachings of yoga and advaita according to the lineage of Sri Swami Sivananda. The site introduces many aspects of Advaita and gives details of activities and retreats at affiliated centers throughout the world. Yoga Malika - Guided by Swami Dayananda Saraswati and Swami Paramarthananda Saraswati in Chennai India, provides classes in Vedanta, and books and cassettes. Some talks may be downloaded and a few are also available in Real Audio format. Friends of the Heart - Spirituality and Advaita organization that offers scholarships, free videos and free monthly newsletters on spirituality, Advaita Vedanta, enlightenment and being now. Vedanta Institute UK - This is effectively the UK branch of the Vedanta Life Institute below. Annual lectures, management seminars, study groups, talks, workshops and retreats are organized. Activities take place in various parts of London, Manchester, Nottingham and Birmingham. Advaita Meditation Center - (formerly The Philosophy Foundation), Waltham, Massachusetts, offers classes, seminars and retreats in Advaita philosophy, meditation and related subjects. The School is affiliated with the Sharada Peetham in Sringeri, India. Adhyatma Prakasha Karyalaya - An organization founded in Holenarasipura, India by Shri Shri Sachidanandendra Saraswati to propagate the essence of Shankara's teaching of Advaita. Vedanta Cultural Foundation United States - USA branch of the organization established in 1976 in India by Swami Parthasarathy. The teacher there is Gautam Jain, who gives regular talks in New York and New Jersey. The site contains details about the organization, Swami Parthasarathy and his books/CDs. Arsha Vijnana Mandiram - A spiritual retreat center located in Southern Georgia devoted to the study of Vedanta and Sanskrit. It was founded in 2006 by Swami Dayananda Saraswati. His disciple, Sri Sadhvi Chaitanya, is the resident Acharya of the center. Swami Dayananda Ashram - the website of the Arsha Vidya Pitham at Rishikesh. There are details of the ashram facilities and the temple, teachers both within and outside India, together with contact emails or websites. There are classes at the ashram in Vedanta, yoga and sanskrit and there is an on-line bookstore. The Study Society - Holds weekly meetings in London. Influenced by Ouspensky and Sri Shantanand Saraswati. Utilises mantra-based meditation and practices the Sufi 'Mevlevi Turning'. Neti Neti Media - Organization sponsoring the annual Nonduality conference in California; also produces films (e.g. Nisargadatta Maharaj, Stephen Wolinsky) and webcasts (e.g. Rupert Spira). Advaita Space - Advaita-related articles; a forum, blog and links to other sites. Some scriptures available for download and an on-line shop to purchase books (India only).
