The Baronial Order of the Magna Charta
- Founded in 1898 under the name of The Baronial Order of Runnemede as a lineage society for those who can prove descendancy from one or more of the 25 Sureties who were responsible for holding King John to the terms of the Great Charter he signed on 15 June, 1215 at Runnemede meadow in England. Offers information on society programs, objectives, membership, and contacts. Based in Ambler, PA.
The National Society Magna Charta Dames and Barons
- Instituted in 1909 as a non-profit lineage society now composed of Divisions in 31 States and with 24 Chapters or Colonies. Membership is by invitation only, of lifetime duration, and is based upon lineal blood descent from one or more of the twenty-five Sureties for the Magna Charta or from a Baron, Prelate, Knight or other influential person present on the field of Runnemede in June 1215 on behalf of the Charter. Provides membership forms, list of Divisions and Chapters, programs, events, contacts, and links.
Order of the Crown of Charlemagne in the United States of America
- A non-profit, independent patriotic and lineal society open to men and women who can prove beyond doubt their descent from the Emperor Charlemagne. Provides membership information and requirements, society objectives, officers, news, historical articles, and links.
