Sanctions on Iraq are the prohibition and prevention of goods and services and trade, connecting to or reaching Iraq from other parts of the world. The society issue involved here has to do with the human (or environmental or other) difficulties such as unattended medical problems (unable to get medicines and supplies), lack of food and safe drinking water (i.e., unable to obtain water treatment goods or services) and so on.
