Malagasy, also known as Malgache, is a Western Malayo-Polynesian member of the Austronesian language family spoken in Madagascar, Comoros Islands and Réunion. It is most closely related to Ma'anyan language of south Borneo though influenced with loan words from Arabic, Bantu, English, French and Swahili.
