University of California, San Francisco: Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences - Research in Dr. Kathleen Giacomini's lab focuses on the roles of membrane transporters in drug absorption, disposition, targeting and in clinical drug response. European Molecular Biology Laboratory - Research at EMBL emphasises experimental analysis at multiple levels of biological organization, from the molecule to the organism, as well as computational biology, functional genomics and systems biology.
