The Los Roques archipelago, the largest coral atoll of the Caribbean, is situated 160 km north of Caracas in Venezuela. It is comprised of around 350 islands protected by a long and magnificent coral reef creating still and crystal clear waters. The immaculate white beaches stretch as far as the eye can see, offsetting the ever-changing colours of the sea. Inhabited by innumerable birds and an incredible variety of fish and sea turtles, the archipelago was declared a natural park in 1972.
