The township of Naseby, a former gold mining town and now a holiday resort, is located among shady trees at the head of the sun-bleached Maniototo Plain.

Naseby Vision - A community development group working to improve services and facilities in Naseby, and promoting the interests of its members and the town in general. Naseby Indoor Curling Rink - Curling at Naseby is year round and suitable for all ages and abilities at this, the only indoor rink in the Southern Hemisphere. Information on Naseby Alpine Park, functions, pro shop, curling events, training and coaching, plus Maniototo activities and accommodation. Naseby Ice Luge - The Southern Hemisphere’s first and only ‘snow and ice’ luge track. The luge has a gradient of 7.5% over a total fall of 22.5m from the top to bottom, allowing riders to reach a maximum speed of 60kmh on a sled. Track, calendar information featured as well as videos and photos Naseby Information Centre - Assists with queries, brochures, local activities, accommodation and dining. Also sells a selection of locally-made arts and crafts. The Great Naseby Water Race - An ultramarathon event taking place near Naseby, at 609.6m [2000ft] the highest town in New Zealand. The course is around a 10km loop, the one half along a gravel road and the other on a forest track beside the water race.
