Ministry of Defence
- The Government's principal adviser on defence policy, it is also responsible for the evaluation of the performance of the defence organisations.
Ministry for the Environment

- Helping to build successful individuals, and in turn building strong, healthy families and communities.
Ministry for Culture and Heritage
- Provides advice to the New Zealand government on culture and heritage matters and undertakes a number of activities that support and promote New Zealand's history and heritage.
The Ministry of Youth Development, Te Manatū Whakahiato Taiohi
- Encourages and supports young people, aged between 12 and 24 years old, to develop and use knowledge, skills and experiences to participate confidently in their communities.

Ministry for Pacific Peoples
- Mission is to effect positive change for Pacific Peoples.
Ministry for Primary Industries
- Helps maximise export opportunities for New Zealand's primary industries, improve sector productivity, ensure the food produced is safe, increase sustainable resource use, and protects New Zealand from biological risk.
