SAFE: Saving Animals from Euthanasia - Non-profit organisation for the rescue and rehoming of abandoned and unwanted pets. Based in Karratha, with a network of foster carers throughout the state. Provides details of animals, and how to volunteer or contribute. RSPCA Western Australia - Society to promote kindness and prevent or suppress cruelty to animals, to encourage and sustain public interest in animal welfare, and to enforce existing laws relating to the protection of animals. Dogs' Refuge Home of Western Australia - A not-for-profit organisation for the rescue, care and re-homing of dogs. Pictures of dogs for adoption, help for finding lost dogs and an events calendar. Swan Animal Haven - Volunteer organisation rescues and cares for abandoned dogs until new homes can be found. Features photographs and details of those awaiting adoption, as well as information on fundraising and dog sponsorship.
