Palm Cove is located around 25 km north of Cairns in the tropical Far North Region of Queensland, Australia. It has a population of approximately 800 residents. Once only sugar cane fields, this beach village was developed in the mid 1980's and is administered by the Cairns Regional Council. Palm Cove features accommodation, restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. There is a 24 hour bus service to and from Cairns.
