Axmouth is a village on the east bank of the River Axe, as it flows into the English Channel.
The parish of Axmouth is separated from  Seaton by the Axe, with  Colyton further north.
The parish stretches along the coast, east to the combined parish of  Combepyne Rousdon,
and is separated inland from the market town of  Axminster by the parish of  Musbury.
