Drawa (Drawieński) National Park - Located in the north-western part of Poland. The main function of the DNP is to observe the natural biotope and evaluate the current state of natural processes, surface and subterranean waters, climate, and other aspects of the inanimate nature. Warta River Mouth (Ujście Warty) National Park - Lies near the Polish-German border in Lubusz Voivodeship. Includes over 270 bird species along with 170 breeding ones. Some of them are listed in the Polish Red Data Book of Animals. Białowieża (Białowieski) National Park - Situated in the north-east part of Poland, in podlaskie voivodeship. Protects the best preserved fragment of Białowieża Forest – last natural forest at the European Lowland Area. [Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site] Biebrza (Biebrzański) National Park - Located in Northeast Poland, in the Podlaskie Voivodship. Designated as a wetland site of global significance and is under the protection of the RAMSAR Convention. Narew (Narwiański) National Park - Situated in Podlaskie Voivodeship, north-eastern Poland, traversed by the Narew River. Protects the swampy Narew valley and its unique anastomosing river-system with richness of flora and fauna. Wielkopolska (Wielkopolski) National Park - Situated within the Wielkopolska region of west-central Poland. Preserves various forms of postglacial landscape and the most pristine flora complexes, as well as the animals living there. Tatra (Tatrzański) National Park - Located in the Tatra mountains in the Tatra County in the Małopolska Region in southern Poland, bordering Slovakia. Surrounds and protects the whole Tatra massif. Pieniny (Pieniński) National Park - Located in the most southern part of Poland, on the border with Slovakia. Includes 34 kilometres of tourist walking trails in the park, from such peaks as Sokolica and Trzy Korony. Roztocze (Roztoczański) National Park - Located in eastern Poland, in Lublin Voivodeship. Protects the most valuable natural areas of the middle part of the Roztocze range. Polesie (Poleski) National Park - Established in Lublin Voivodeship with the mandate to protect peatbog and swamp areas. Wolin (Woliński) Park Narodowy - Established to protect nature in its natural, most beautiful form for future generations. Situated on the island of Wolin in the far north-west of the country, in West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Magura (Magurski) National Park - Located in the south-east of Poland, close to Slovakia. Includes over 70 km of marked tourist trails in the Park, making the area easily accessible to visitors. Slowinski (Słowiński) National Park - Preserves the most beautiful part of the Baltic southern coast, with the biggest sandy dunes in Europe. Situated in Pomeranian Voivodeship, northern Poland. Gorce (Gorczański) National Park - Includes the central and north-east parts of the Gorce Range. Protects not only the Gorce Range’s nature but also a rich cultural heritage. Babia Góra (Babiogórski) National Park - Includes information about the natural and cultural aspects of the region, with a variety of curiosities from the world of nature and a detailed description of the Park’s activities. Karkonosze (Karkonoski) National Park - Located in south-western Poland, on the Czech border. Protects the unique environment, including interesting geomorphological forms and rich fauna and flora. Ojcow (Ojcowski) National Park - Situated in the Jura Krakowsko-Czestochowska, just north of Krakow. Includes tourist Information of Poland's smallest national park.
