German Historical Museum - Information about the history of the Zeughaus building, the avantgarde exhibition center by I.M. German Resistance Memorial Center - Located in the historic section of the former headquarters of the Army High Command, it documents the failed attempt of Colonel von Stauffenberg and others to assassinate Hitler. Topography of Terror - Exhibition and Documentation Centre - The Topography of Terror Foundation operates an open-air exhibition on the former site of the Nazi Secret Police, where it documents the crimes carried out during the 'Third Reich'. The Allied Museum - The Allied Museum documents the presence of the allied forces (US, France, Britain) in Berlin after World War II. It is a colourful display of the life of West Berliners and allied military personnel between 1945 and the fall of the Berlin wall. The Story of Berlin Museum - Commercial museum with interactive, hands-on exhibition, video and audio recordings. Emphasis on Berlin as a divided city, 20th-century history. Detailed information for visitors German-Russian Museum, Berlin (Karlshorst) - Originally founded in 1967 for the Soviet army stationed in East Germany, the museum commemorates and researches the history of Eastern Europe during the Second World War. English-language summary; limited service information. House of the Wannsee Conference - Memorial Center - The permanent exhibition documents the Wannsee conference, the events prior to it, and its consequences. It provides basic information on the entire process of the segregation, persecution and genocide of the European Jews by German authorities under the Nazi dictatorship. Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe - Built following a 1999 resolution of the German Parliament, the Memorial, located in immediate vicinity of the central Brandenburg Gate, commemorates the victims of the Holocaust. A remarkable symbol for Germany's facing the dark sides of its history. Anti-War Museum Berlin - The Anti-War Museum presents photographs, documents and objects from the First and Second World War.
