Located in Jingumae, Shibuya-ku. The Tolman Collection - Tokyo publisher of contemporary Japanese graphic art. They have limited edition lithographs, woodblock prints, silkscreens, and etchings, as well as books about their collection. Displays artist portfolios and street map. Edo Tokyo Museum - Aims to offer an environment in which the atmosphere of Edo (old Tokyo) can be experienced. With guide to hours, access, exhibitions, and floor guide. The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo - Japan's first national art museum with works of art, crafts, film, and related materials; plus surveys and research, and public exhibitions and screenings. Located in Kobayashi, Chuo-ku. Gallery Koyanagi - Small gallery exhibiting photography and prints from Japanese and world artists. Located in Ginza, Chuo-ku. Idemitsu Museum of Arts - Displays the collection of Sazo Idemitsu. Mainly Japanese art with some Chinese, Korean, and Western pieces. Located in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku. The National Art Center, Tokyo - Guide to the facilities at NACT in Nogizaka. Marunouchi Gallery - Small gallery in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku. Yamatane Museum of Art - Features 7-8 exhibitions annually, mainly focusing on modern Japanese paintings created after the Meiji era. The Museum also has collections of oil paintings, Ukiyoe, Japanese Calligraphy and Japanese tea ceremony sets. Located in Sanbancho, Chiyoda-ku. Laforet Art and Planning Network - A variety of exhibits in contemporary art spaces in Jingumae (Shibuya-ku), Roppongi, and Harajuku. Site mostly in Japanese with some English-language navigation. Paper Museum - Dedicated to preserving the traditions and ways of making the handmade Japanese paper and to training successors to continue the craft. Includes hours, calendar of events, links, photos, admission fees and directions. Located in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo. Pola Museum Annex - Contemporary art museum in Ginza, Chuo-ku. Facilities include two cafes. Site mostly in Japanese with some English-language navigation. Seiji Togo Memorial Sompo Japan Museum of Art - The museum's core collection is comprised of the works of Seiji Togo, a noted Japanese artist. Togo donated some 200 of his own works to the museum, along with his collection of over 250 works by other Japanese and foreign artists.
