Hardoi district is situated between 26-53 to 27-46 North Latitude and 79-41 to 80-46 East Longitude. Its northern border touches Shahjahanpur and Lakhimpur Kheri districts, Lucknow and Unnao are in the south, Kanpur and Farrukhabad in the west, and Sitapur in the east. Nemisharayan the pilgrim centre is 45 kms from the district headquarters.
