Congress of South African Trade Unions - Trade Union Federation formed in 1985, a part of the Tri-partite Alliance with the African National Congress and the South African Communist Party National Union of Mineworkers - Formed on 5 December 1982 and is the largest recognised collective bargaining agent representing workers in the mining, energy and construction industries in South Africa.
