Commemorative Air Force Museum
- Volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation in flying condition of the war planes that dominated the skies of World War II. Includes hours, directions and suggested donation. Located at Falcon Field Airport in Mesa.
Pacific Coast Air Museum
- 16 different aircraft that qualified as being historic. Located in Santa Tosa, California.
Preserved US Military Aircraft
- A list. Not a museum but interesting.
Atterbury-Bakalar Air Museum
- Dedicated to memory of military and civilian personnel who served in any capacity in wars and conflicts from 1942- 1970. Includes details of exhibits, hours, events, membership, volunteer group and directions. Located in Columbus, Indiana.
Air Mobility Command Museum
- Museum is housed in an historic hangar, and the site provides a tour as well as photos with information on the aircraft collection. Located at Dover AFB in Dover, Delaware.
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
- Site features the carrier Yorktown, CV-10, (as well as several other ships) with excellent background information and photos of naval aviation. Located at Charleston Harbor in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
Warren ICBM & Heritage Museum
- Site presents the history and activities of one of the oldest U.S. military bases still operational. Located at F. E. Warren AFB, near Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum
- Chronicles the history of the 8th Air Force during World War II and after. Includes hours, prices, newsletter, calendar of events, forums, membership details, volunteer opportunities, directions and contact information. Located in Pooler, near Savannah.
National Museum of the United States Air Force
- Official homepage of the US Air Force Museum with over 300 aircraft and missiles on display.
Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum
- Includes list of traveling exhibits, information about educational programs, exhibit of various military aircraft, missiles, spacecraft, with historical and technical notes. Located at Mahoney State Park near Omaha, Nebraska.
Travis Air Force Base Heritage Center
- Site details the Travis AFB museum and its collection with lots of photos and information. Located in Fairfield, California.
Air Force Space and Missile Museum
- Displays missiles, rockets and related space equipment. Includes photos and details of exhibits. Open daily and operated by volunteer group. Located in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
Hill Aerospace Museum
- An excellent Air Force museum site with much historical information and many photos of its large aircraft collection. Located at Hill AFB in Roy, Utah.
