BioQUEST Curriculum Consortium - Supports a network of educators interested in undergraduate biology. The curricula provide opportunities for students to learn biology by posing problems, developing answers for their own problems, and persuading their peers that their answers are valid and useful. Science Learning Network - Community of educators, students, schools, science museums and other institutions demonstrating a new model for inquiry science education. Includes a variety of inquiry posed problems, information, demonstrations, and labs. Global Schoolhouse - A major contributor to the philosophy, design, culture and content of Internet-based learning; collaborates with individuals, schools, businesses and community organizations to design, develop, and manage collaborative learning projects. TERC - A nonprofit research and development organization committed to improving mathematics and science learning and teaching; TERC is internationally recognized for creating innovative curricula, fostering teacher professional development, pioneering creative uses of technology in education, contributing to educators' understanding of learning and teaching, and developing equitable opportunities for underserved learners. National Council for the Social Studies - Social studies resources and information. Dialogues in Methods of Education - An informal community of educators interested in open dialogue about their problems related to teaching. Two-day conferences are held in March and October. The primary interest is in searching for solutions to the "everyday problems" of classroom teachers.
