Marian College is an important aspect of the ministry of the Sisters of St. Francis. It has been so for the last 150 years. The work the Sisters do brings a unique dimension to the academic spirit of this place. Students come here to get an education and participate in this great knowledge economy, but they leave with something much greater - an understanding of how they can use their gifts and talents to serve others. We educate students who go on to become the front line leaders in almost every professional and commercial enterprise in modern society. But we also educate those who add to our quality of life - our teachers, nurses, and community and social services workers.
