Located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, the U of S is a major centre for education, research and service. One of Canada's most dynamic research communities, the U of S is home to the Canadian Light Source, Innovation Place research park, and several government research centres. Research, scholarship and creative activity takes place in more than 100 campus buildings and at three university-owned farms. The U of S includes 13 colleges, the Extension Division, and the U of S Library, as well as several virtual, federated, and affiliated colleges. In addition, the U of S is the only Canadian university that offers all five health sciences and a teaching hospital on the same campus.
