National Archives of Australia - The central repository for Australian Commonwealth Government records. The main focus of the collection are records created since the formation of the Commonwealth in 1901. The Archive also contains some nineteenth century records relating to functions that were transferred by the colonies to the Commonwealth government, including shipping and post offices. Includes search databases, research guides and an online photographic collection. Archives Office of Tasmania - Includes genealogical and historical databases. Burke Museum, Beechworth, Victoria - Has a substantial holding of archive material relating to Beechworth and the North East of Victoria. Hours of opening, record holdings and contact details.
