Plans, travelogues, personal and group diaries, etc. of past, current, and planned expeditions to Mount Everest, the Himalayan peak which straddles the border between Nepal's Khumbu region and Chinese Tibet. At 8848 meters (29,028 feet) the summit of Everest is the highest place on earth. It is called Sagarmatha in Nepalese and Chomolongma in Tibetan.
