The North Cheshire Cruising Club, High Lane - Details of the events and facilities at the North Cheshire Cruising Club at High Lane, Stockport and the Macclesfield Canal Manchester Bolton & Bury Canal Society - Aims are to preserve the line of the canal, initially restore all parts of the canal which remain in water, eventually restore the whole canal to full navigable standard and to foster interest in the canal. Hollinwood Canal Society - The society seeks to preserve and restore the Hollinwood and Fairbottom Branches of the Ashton Canal, east of Manchester and link it to the Rochdale Canal. Royal Canal Amenity Group - Formed in 1974 to promote and participate in the development of the full amenity potential of the Royal Canal in County Dublin, Ireland. Now expanded to the entire canal. Waterway Recovery Group - The national co-ordinating body for voluntary labour on the inland waterways of Britain. Canal & River Trust - Charity entrusted with the care of 2,000 miles of waterways in England and Wales.
