Canberra Linux Users Group (CLUG)
- Besides the usual monthly meetings and mailing list, this group has a number of on-going projects that members can get involved with.
Home Unix Machine Brisbane User Group (HUMBUG)
- The group supports all Unix variations, not just Linux. They provide an IRC chat group and regular meetings (with previous talks available online), a library (hardware, tools, CDs, books), talks and the usage of the humbug.org.au domain name.
Linux Australia User Groups
- Umbrella Linux user group with comprehensive links to Linux User Groups across Australia.
Linux Users of Victoria, Inc. (LUV)
- The group provides monthly meetings, events, SIGs, a mailing list and IRC chat group. Additionally there are online Linux presentations from monthly meetings and written tutorials.
Linux Users of South Australia (LinuxSA)
- Regular meetings, a mailing list, and their web-site provides Linux related links and short articles.
Perth Linux Users' Group (PLUG)
- This group has a mailing list and regular events (meetings, seminars, installfests, AGMs). The web-pages include details of their library, Getting Linux and related links.
Sydney Linux User Group (SLUG)
- Provides access to news, a mailing list, meetings information, a job vacancies page and a wiki. They have special interest groups and monthly meetings along with intermittent install-fests and social events.
Tasmanian Linux Users Group (TasLUG)
- The group has regular meetings, a discussion forum and news pages (with an RSS feed option).
Townsville Linux Users Group (TLUG)
- Group membership facilities include forums, blogs, polls and information about up-coming events and open source advocacy. Their web-site contains Linux and programming tips, problem solutions, "how-to" and install guides.
South Coast Linux User Group (SCLUG)
- Monthly meetings, a mailing list, member blogs and polls are a feature of this site. Also online is an events calendar, photo album and Linux news.
Hunter Valley Linux User Group (HVLUG)
- A group that meets once a month, and whose website has lots of useful links and documentation.
Linux Australia
- Includes services and information, background, usergroups, sponsors, projects, and links to local suppliers.
