Originally a UK-based series, Supernanny follows nanny Jo Frost, as she attempts to assist families with their troublesome children. Jo visits the family, observes them and then attempts to find solutions for the issues they are having. Following the success of the UK series, a US based series was filmed, with Jo Frost helping out American families. A book based on the series has also been released, titled "Supernanny: How to Get the Best from Your Children" by Jo Frost.
