Community theatre provides entertainment for the audience, and a form of recreation for the people involved. South Carolina has groups from the coast to the mountains that perform in small reclaimed buildings to large, state of the art auditoriums. People may get involved in acting, directing, technical and support roles, or simply sit back and enjoy a show.
