Daniel Day-Lewis - British leading actor, born 29th April 1957, London. He is the son of Cecil Day-Lewis, poet laureate, and actress Jill Balcon. Films include 'Gandhi' (1983), confined to a wheelchair in 'My Left Foot' (1989), and 'Gangs of New York' (2002).
