Amanda Barrie - British actress, born 14th September 1935, Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside, England. Film roles include several of the 'Carry On' films. TV roles include playing Alma Sedgewick/Baldwin/Halliwell in 'Coronation Street' between 1981 and 2001, and the TV version of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' (1971).
