Internationally respected and an award-winning actor/director of stage and screen. Born in Vienna, Austria, on December 8, 1930, but raised in Switzerland. Won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1961 for his work in the film, "Judgment at Nuremberg." Received "Actor of the Millennium" award at The Baltic Pearl Film festival in Latvia.
