Theodor Leschetizky (Leszetycki; 1830-1915) was a Polish-born pianist, composer, teacher, and conductor. Most of his corpus is for the piano, for which he also developed a noted teaching method. However, he also wrote orchestral music, lieder, and two operas. He spent most of his career in St. Petersburg and Vienna.
