Italian late Baroque composer and musician Baldassare Galuppi (1706-1785) wrote over 100 operas and was one of the key developers of the opera buffa style. His religious works included oratorios, motets, masses and settings of liturgical texts while he also wrote keyboard sonatas, trios and concertos for various instruments, and a set of concerti grossi.
